Discontinued and Marked for Clearance
Meet Jethro Eugene Bradley.
A lot of people don’t even remember that before Legacy came out, there was Tron 2.0, a PC FPS game produced as a sequel to the original Tron before Disney finally allowed a second film to escape Development Hell. Jethro, “Jet” for short, is 2.0’s player character, the son of Alan Bradley and Lora Baines. When Legacy was released in 2010, the 2.0 canon was subsequently DisContinuity’d, causing Jet to suffer the eternal fate of all Bradleys: to be forever upstaged and usurped by Flynns.
Opinions on 2.0 vary wildly(and the less said about the spinoff comic Ghost in the Machine, the better). But personally, I actually kind of enjoyed the game, and if I was gonna salvage any one thing from the 2.0 canon, it’d be Jet. [SOURCE]

Jet Bradley works as a game designer at Encom, livin’ the dream of every late- 90s/early-00’s gamer nerd. He rocks the early-00’s dot-commer fashion sense too: open button-down over T-shirt, hipster glasses, goatee, the works. (And for a gamer geek, he’s actually pretty goddamn built.)

This being a Tron game, of course Jet ends up getting digitized (check out that badass armored gridsuit!) and has to fight for his life against all manner of nasty bad guys, chief among them the evil ex-Security director of Encom J.D. Thorne, or, as I like to call him, Dillingerbraxas:

He also gets to mack on a hot Program chick named Mercury!

Sadly, the plot of 2.0 is not the most coherent—something something FCon trying to take over Encom AND THE WORLD!!! and kidnapping Alan and Lora is now a computer and also Tron is ONCE AGAIN A BARELY-MENTIONED NPC IN HIS OWN SERIES—but Jet Bradley’s a badass, and for this fangirl, that made up for some of the game’s flaws. So here’s to you, my man. Sam Flynn may have stolen your place in canon, but he’ll never steal your place in my heart.
